심플한 디지털 카메라 'PIXII' - 이게 3천달러라고?

프랑스의 스타트업 Pixii 에서 디지털 레인지파인더 카메라를 발표했다. 이 카메라가 특이한 점은 마그네슘 재질로 만들어졌으며, 라이카 M 마운트를 사용하고 있는 디지털 레인지파인더 카메라로, 실제 뷰파인더 부분에 레인지파인더가 통합되어 있으며, 일반적인 디지털 카메라와 같은 디스플레이가 없어 필름카메라와 같은 감성을 보여주고 있다. 오로지, 광학정보에 의존해 촬영을 해야 하고, 카메라 상단에 작은 사이즈의 OLED 디스플레이로 조리개, 셔터스피드 등을 확인해야 한다.

 

이 카메라가 특이한 점은 또 있다. 별도의 메모리카드 슬롯이 없어, 8GB, 32GB 두가지 제품만 판매되며, 스마트폰이나 Wi-Fi, 블루투스로 사진을 전송해야 한다는 점이다. 만약 사진을 바로 확인하고 싶다면, 스마트폰으로 확인해야 하는 불편함이 있으며, 스펙은 3천달러라는 가격에 비해 뛰어나지는 않다. 유효화소수는 1,110만 화소로, APS-C 사이즈의 글로벌 셔터 CMOS 센서를 사용하고 있으며, ISO 는 기본이 320으로, 최대 2,560 까지밖에 확대되지 않는다.

 

이 카메라는 전문가용도 아닌, 일상 생활을 위한 카메라임에도 가격이 비싸다. $3,290. 한화로 약 392만원이다. 이 정도 가격이면 다른 카메라를 사는 것이 좋아보인다. 실제로 홈페이지에는 촬영한 샘플사진도 없다. 가격이 거의 양아치 사기급이다.
